What is Gemmotherapy?

Gemmotherapy is a branch of phytotherapy (the use of plant substances for medical purposes) that uses extracts from the buds and young shoots of plants to enhance organ function and facilitate tissue regeneration, while encouraging toxin elimination.  The remedies, made from young shoots & buds, are richer in vitamins, oligo-elements, minerals, nucleic acids and growth hormones than other plant tissues.  (Sirois, 2009)  and are a concentrated source of healing potential.

Uses of Gemmotherapy

1. Cellular detoxification

Gemmotherapy is believed to support the body's natural detoxification processes, helping to eliminate harmful substances and promote cellular health.

2. Immune System Support

Certain plant extracts used in Gemmotherapy are thought to enhance the immune system, providing a natural defence against infections and disease.

3. Regulation of Organ Function

Different Gemmo extracts are associated with specific organs and systems, aiming to regulate their function and promote overall balance.
